Default Problem with STATS & BAM

I've got a problem with my stats in boincstats. For the moment i've got 3 different cpid'd in stead of one. I've got another strange problem. My Pentium D had running almost all the projects for aligning my stats. But the problem is with my bam that 1 single pc is standing 4 times in the hosts list ???
When i change from project on this machine he changes it and the day after he makes a new host. I've got now 4 hosts with on host 1 ( 5 projects), host 2 (13 projects), host 3 (6 projects) and host 4 (4 projects). I dont know how to align all that again.

would you loose creds if you would simply reset projects and then detach (after emptying cache first ofcourse) after wich you re-attach to those projects.. ?

I'm just guessing here, but you say the problem is with your bam (Boinc App Manager?)
so maybe you can try making a backup of the entire boinc-file (with the projects) and then reïnstalling the boinc manager so you still have the projects, I've done this after mistakingly downloading a 5.6 client, uninstalled it, reinstalled 5.4.11... all projectsfiles were saved so maybe this trick could work for you..

EDIT: useless ---< read Tutta's advise above

Do you have one (different from 0) for each project?

No, detaching and attaching again doesn't make you lose credits. EDIT: your BBC would be lost of course

The self-multiplying hosts is a problem connected to BAM, although the BAM fans are furious if you dare to say so . There is a manual fix for it, if indeed the problem is the same which I experienced some time ago. This is a solution posted by Steve Cressman in the uFluids boards. You can repeat this for each project that gives you this problem.

    1) You can verify that this is your problem too by checking your client_state.xml file. Look for the section for ufluids.net then find the line that states the <hostid>xxxxxx</hostid>. If you have value of 0 for the ID# then this is what causes it to keep making new hosts. Now exit the text editor without saving!
    2) If you want to fix this shut down Boinc.
    3) Go to your account page at the project and click on View computers then write down the host number from the most recent one there.
    4) Go back and open client_state.xml.file with a text editor and replace the 0 with the number that you wrote down.
    5) Save the file.
    6) Restart Boinc
