    It was not intended as a sneer and as far as I'm concerned it is still an open invitation to be constructive, cause apparently the project admin is deemed incompetent and lazy, without even knowing him or her personally... But you were right about me making the thread off-topic... Sorry about that...

    I'm sure no personal attack was intended by Coldrain, just a reaction about loosing several thousands of credits which is never a fun thing.
    The reaction was also made in a team forum so it was not ment to get out to the public (but it did, I know )

    I'm not a programmer nor a scientist so I'm afraid I cannot help you with the code however if testing needs to be done I'm always prepared to help (even if that means loosing some credits).

    I'll be on holidays next week but afterwards I'll surely do some Leiden crunching again since I like the project and I have only had issues once (which is very good compared to some other projects out there)

    just my 2 cents,

    Do I have to know Mr Bush personally to find him dangerous and arrogantly stupid? Of course Mr Bush could take offence in me deeming him this way, but luckely for me I'm just a simple working bee, merely a tiny bacteria on his foot, under his foot or more likely not even close.
    That said, people evolve. They react upon action, or lack of action. I did. You did.
    I haven't read the LC message boards yet. But you reacted by coming over here. Your message sounds good, your contribution is, at least by me, highly appreciated.
    You've proven that:
    • I was wrong in deeming you 'incompetent and lazy';
    • you saw the importance of 'user awareness' and 'user support', two of the key elements in any project.

    As such, my sincere apologies.

    to make it a complete truce, you could add the BMF creds to BOINC.BE
    it shows your neutrality, and the DPCs can chase a time longer, as this is what they like to do

    Large signatures do not help compensate for something else
