it aren't blocks, it isn't HDRI, it is just a basic 3D boinc.be text
just made for fun, enjoy and use if you want

Well I could try, I did do it with XMPLAY (which I gather is where you got the idea from ). May be a while though since there's a memory leak in the latest version of Blender.

Building it was easier than I thought - learnt a new trick with the letters too. I'm currently just running tests on the main backdrop colour and HDRI (so it doesn't clash and you can read the "BOINC" part). This will take a while as it's eating 1.6GB of my 2GB RAM (luckily Vista's resource management is far better than 2000/XPs or it would have crashed).

EDIT: Sorry, but I can't finish it. 2GB RAM isn't enough to render this (the ray tracer just crashed at 1.4GB RAM usage).

If I had 4GB I could complete it - but for now, I'll just have to keep hold of the source file.

EDIT2: I just came up with an idea to finish it, but it won't be to what I wanted it to look like. Should cut the RAM usage down by 60%.

BTW: I put one of your images as background on my laptop from work, already had a few colleagues complementing on it.
