    Hi,

    even een vlugge melding... Een nieuwe versie van Classical is uit op LC; versie 5.38. Hoewel deze iets trager is dan de voorgaande versies, behoort deze meer consistente resultaten te geven en dus minder verloren credits te hebben... Zie de nieuws post op http://boinc.gorlaeus.net voor meer info... Zo dat was een werk om dat voor elkaar te krijgen ;-p...

    Euh, toch nog weer een nieuwere versie jonges...

    Naar het bleek, zatten er floating point getallen in de checkpoint file die maar tot 7 decimalen nauwkeurig weggeschreven werd... Da's natuurlijk niet goed als je dan de checkpoint file inleest en verder gaat rekenen... dan ga je verschillen krijgen met computers die niet de checkpoint file gebruikt hebben.... Nou de fix is er al... Er wordt nu met 20 decimalen weggeschreven en dat blijkt op windows en linux nauwkeurig genoeg te zijn...

    dat jullie het maar weten he?
