alot of the projects only have work for older macs
but sztaki now also has a mac-client for the newer intel macs
so since a few days people with intel-macs can now also crunch for sztaki

I assumed that the Intel-Mac would be able to run the older Mac-software.

But apparently projects have to make a diffirent application for Intel-Macs

Indead, that's what I thought also.

I think that's strange because at the end they are just applications like any other application.

I think I have found an explanation here
from what I understand from it they have to make seperate applications because otherwise they would run slower...

That would indead be a good reason to bypass "Rosetta".
