Very beautiful, can you close this thing somehow?
Nope, it's an open case. Which in my (limited ) experience is not that much worse for collecting dust than a closed case, even when using dust filters.

The case is called Antec Skeleton. I had seen it somewhere on the Internet a few months ago. After reading an article in PC Magazine, and when I noticed that one of our revered members had bought the same , I decided to go for it.

The case is very easy to work with. The whole part containing mobo, psu, HDD's and 5 1/4" can be shifted out at the back, making everything easy to reach. There are 2 drawbacks I noticed until now:
    - The PSU cables are really cramped.
    - Most high end CPU coolers that have a cubic shape won't fit. My Asus Triton sure didn't. Zalman 9500 is fine. I suspect 9700 might be too high.

Yeah, very funny. When I had noticed it some times ago, I thought it was some kind of testing workbench.

    What about the noise?

It's a quiet setup for the moment. There are only 3 fans: the 250mm at the top, a 92mm in front for cooling the HDD and my Zalman's fan. The top fan's speed can be regulated by a switch on the case. At low speed it's very silent. The front fan I can't hear. My Zalman I have regulated at 1750 rpm. Higher it becomes loudish, but from previous experience with the same cooler, I learned that at top speed it barely cools more.

My bakske will get an upgrade next week. GTX 260 card will be replaced by a spanking new Radeon 6870. Should produce some nice credits in a few projects

First project on: collatz. Average running time 400 seconds per WU. Average credits: 740 per WU. Or close to 6000 credits per hour

Only drawback for the moment: the card's fan is pretty loud under load
