Default Octo core boosted a bit

If you remember, in the temporary forum I presented to you my new cruncher :

Dual Xeon Quad Core 5410. These are 45nm Pernryns with a FSB @ 1333Mhz (333x4).

    My mobo (Asus DSEB-DG - chipset 5400) supports a 1600 FSB.

And a very easy pin mod make the motherboard detect the chip as 1600FSB CPU.

    It' now running @ 2.8 Ghz .

Try running Systool (http://www.techpowerup.com/systool/). I can overclock my i5000P/V/X-boards by selecting the ICS932S401 as clockgenerator. You can try it on your board too. Let me know if it works. I don't know what operating system you use, but it worked with XP and server 2003 with me, not with server 2008...

Also make sure your FB-Dimms are cooled well!
