boinc 6.6.36 installed: help

I just noticed there was a new, so called, stable version of boinc and wanted to give it a try. So I installed the 6.6.36 version on my vista 64 bit system. I wish I did not choose to do that. I get an error message that tells me that "The feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." Select the correct directory where the isntaller created the boinc.msi file in C:\windows\downlaoded installations does not help and you get the messages in attachment. Off course the install already removed part of the previous boinc, so I can not use it anymore.
Someone an idea what to do?
Does someone still has a boinc 6.6.15 installer or an installer of an other 6.6 version for windows that is working as it should?

All previous versions of Boinc remain available permanently. For the latest the URL was http://boincdl.ssl.berkeley.edu/dl/b...s_intelx86.exe
For previous versions just fill in the right version number. So for 6.6.15 it is http://boincdl.ssl.berkeley.edu/dl/b...s_intelx86.exe

I have a 6.6.36 version installed on two 64 bits Vistas and both are running fine. Are you sure you have the 64 bits version? Tutta's links are pointing to the 32 bits version ... The 64 bits versions are labeled X86_64.

Yes. I always ran the 64 bits version, though the 32 bit should work as well as far as I know.

Thanks a lot. I did not know that. I just downgraded with boinc_6.6.15_windows_x86_64.exe and it works as it should.

Er is blijkbaar een bug in de installer opgelost, want nu kon ik de laatste 64-bits developmentversie (6.10.50) installeren.
