My missing credit only appears in Boincstats - my milky account is ok. Just waiting for the next boincstats update now.
credits are back !
I noticed too that the top 2 crunchers of our team lost a lot of credit in the boincstats, they have a huge negative RAC

gunnie is right, the Milkyway project suffered from a DB crash the day before yesterday. When they brought back up the DB it was in the status of around mid May 2009. After that they restored the backup of earlier that day. So from yesterday on all credits should be back (more or less) OK.
Naturally the effect on the stats-sites is only visible with some delay (depending on when they sync with the projects). I think that all stats should be back to normal now.

Hi,
(First post ever on this forum for me).
I lost all credits too (not as much as you guys), but it seems like they were added again yesterday....
One weird thing though, my history of stats is completely gone for Milkyway...
It shows up as 'new' for last month and last week, and only yesterday +7,856 credits...
Of course I can't check if that's what my credits were before the DB-crash...
Anyway, hopefully their server is stable now.
Greetz!

Hiya Loewie. Welcome to the forum![]()

First of all welcome to our forum Loewie !
What concerns the history of stats it is indeed weird that your Milkyway history does not show the drop in credits. But if you look at your overall credits you'll see a drop on 29/7/2009 (so a negative credit/day) and then on 30/7/2009 a much bigger positive credit/day. So I guess it is probably OK. In case you doubt you can always ask the Milkyway admin to verify it.
PS: are you using a PS3 to crunch for GPUGRID?

Loe me
Ye, I'm not too bothered about going on a credit-history search, it seems alright to me.
I installed YDL6.1 on my PS3 last week, so yes indeed, with a little trouble and quite some looking up on some forums, I got Boinc working on it, with GPUGrid as only project.
I tried some hints I found to get Seti working, but no luck there... I'm not a Linux specialist (far from), so I give up quite easily when something isn't working on it
Greetz,
Loe
