I installed YDL6.1 on my PS3 last week, so yes indeed, with a little trouble and quite some looking up on some forums, I got Boinc working on it, with GPUGrid as only project.
I tried some hints I found to get Seti working, but no luck there... I'm not a Linux specialist (far from), so I give up quite easily when something isn't working on it

Any idea how much the daily credits for GPUGRID would be when running 24/24 on a PS3?

    Yep,
Just look --> here <-- (my detailed stats for GPUGrid),
and you'll see it's an average of around 5660 credits per day.

Anyone else running a PS3 for GPUGrid here? Couldn't really find anything about it on this forum?

    Greetz,
    Loe

according to My Account on the Milkyway site my RAC is actually 490K.
I'm using only a few ATI cards to crunch those Milkies.

It's the playstation network, the msn-look-a-like on ps3. If you start you ps3 in the xmb, the most right icon is your friends tab. You can add up to 100 friends here, send messages, invites, chat and see what they are doing when online. Before you can log in, you first need to register to PSN and make a PSN-account. You can then log in to the network and add some friends. Be sure to also check out the Playstation Store then and download some demo's and/or video's.

    Aaah ok, I get it
I already have a PSN account, but I'd need to return to the GameOS to go there, as Boinc is running on YellowDog Linux atm. (I rarely use my PS3 for playing games anymore... de madam, de kleinen... )

But when I do, Mich, I'll add you (as my first friend )

You use ATI cards, JB? In my desktop pc there's a (yeah, quite outdated, but still quite powerfull) Radeon X1950xtx
Any idea if GPUGrid can work with that?
Why was I under the impression that only NVidia cards could participate in GpuGrid?

GPUGRID is nVidia only at the moment. Milkyway is Ati only but a nVidia version is inbound.
MW only works with HD 48xx cards, maybe HD 38xx too but not shure about that.

HD4850 cards cost about 99euro, if you want to upgrade, now is the time

Two of my ATI cards are HD3850 AGP version. They each have a RAC of about 20-25K.
So if you still have an old box somewhere collecting dust, you can revive it by installing a €95 HD3850. For best results your CPU must support SSE2.

My other cards are 48xx PCIe versions.
