Yep can 2 wu's at the same time. You'll notice a slight increase but isn't that much. Maximum like 20% in guess. Don't know how much VM the project lures, but VM isn't that bad. Thought it does take 50mb ram or so

    aargh oki......
it's got 512 RAM and the moment and an extra 512 if needed so that won't be a problem.....

Different projects on a HT machine is no problem, boinc will act as if there were 2 independant cpu's and start 2 project instances. These instances also work independant of eachother, so nothing to worry

QMC is a memory hogger on VM (457 MB on my linux boxes), resident size is approx 22 MB, which still is a lot compared to some other projects.

I'd put that machine on uFluids which has a low mem footprint (+-9 MB per instance).

Moreover, we'll get to #1 on QMC anyway / anyhow and boinc.be could use some extra power on uFluids. The #2 over there already started daydreaming about taking over our spot something we can't and will not let happen

The scheduler decides whether or not to assign the same project to both virtual processors, or 2 different projects. But it also depends on your "General settings" (on the project website, under 'your account').
If you have the setting "On multiprocessors, use at most: 2 processors", then it is possible you will get 2 QMC WU at the same time.
If you have the setting "On multiprocessors, use at most: 1 processors",
then you will never get 2 QMC WU at the same time.

If you do have 2 QMC WU at the same time, your VM usage will be about 1,5 GB, and RAM usage about 30-50MB

I've done it without problems on my P4 3.2HT, but then I've got 2.5GB of RAM in there...

So, bottom line, you can control the HT behaviour of your projects on the General Settings page.

For who really, really, really wants in this project: I have made an extra account. I am quite willing to give it away. You just need to change e-mail and account name then, since I use the same account name in a few other test projects. Yep, I know, tutta55 is starting to show signs of a split personality

We're slowly gaining ground on #5, BS, but Free-DC is taking more distance. Let's indeed hope they go into panic mode over Rosetta and focus on that.

perseverance ... of Rome en Keulen

Overigens, wij staan al op #5, BS staat op #4.
FDC draait op 1 cruncher, Bok, als die blijft hebben we pech. AF is een grotere hinderpaal vrees ik. Niet?
